Patch Update - What's New in V170

As many of you might have noticed, the Android Utility Tool v170 stopped working this month. When attempting to open the tool, a message saying "Please update to the new version" would appear, redirecting you to the official website. However, many users were disappointed to find that the website only offered the same version of the tool. I, too, waited for quite some time, hoping the developer would recognize the issue and release an update. Unfortunately, since the tool is free, it seems there was little interest in resolving it.

Today, I’ve patched the tool to ensure that you can continue using it without any issues until the end of this month. This small update will enable seamless daily use of the tool.

Changes in Previous Version

The Android Utility Tool v155 has been released, introducing the ability to dump MTK hardware keys from BootROM mode. This includes RPMB, HMAC, FDE, iTrustee/FBE, and Provision keys. A special thank you to Bjorn Bkerler for integrating the DXCC Crypto API.

In Android Utility Tool v154.00.4512, the Rubber Boot option for the Samsung A03 (A035F/G/M) and Samsung A03 Core (A032F) models was accidentally removed but has now been restored. This feature can repair the BOOT even if these devices are locked in fastboot, protected, or bricked following a test-point operation.

Regarding the UniSoC Force BROM option, it is designed for specific devices only and may not work on others due to security restrictions. If you cannot use it, consider changing the device. Ensure that the device's language is set to English and that the device name does not contain spaces or special characters. If all solutions are exhausted, try finding someone who can access the necessary option.
